On April 30, 2025, the “Globalization Awards 2025” hosted by the Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Globalization
Business (MCCGB) was held at the HGH Convention Centre in Malaysia. Elites from Malaysia’s political, business, and academic circles, along with representatives from multinational chambers of commerce, gathered to celebrate this grand occasion.
Political and Business Leaders Explore Globalization Pathways
Distinguished guests included Y.M Tengku Shamsul Bhari, Honorary Advisor of MCCGB, and YBHG. Dato’ Shaharuddin, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture. Liu Tingde, President of MCCGB, stated that the organization will leverage the China National Pavilion as a platform to deepen RCEP cooperation and assist SMEs in expanding into regional markets. Sam Tam, Advisor Chairman of the Hong Kong Small and Medium Enterprises Chamber of Commerce and Industry, proposed the “Golden Triangle” concept, advocating for Malaysia as the fulcrum, Hong Kong as the bridge, and Chinese smart manufacturing as the engine to drive RCEP business collaboration.
Global Pioneers Honored Across Diverse Sectors
The ceremony recognized outstanding contributors in multiple fields:
– Science and Technology Innovation: Yan Rui, General Manager of Shenzhen Junhe Home Furnishing, won the International Gold Award for Healthy Sleep Technology; Esther Hui, CEO of Ho Yat Marketing Planning, received the Young Entrepreneur Award for driving global brand expansion through a new media AI system.
– Healthcare Industry: Vick Shao, Chairman of Shenzhen Tongjia International Health Industry Group, was awarded the China Leading Enterprise Achievement Award; Yap Bee Bee’s company won the Asian Health Product Innovation Leadership Award for promoting traditional health culture globally.
– International Trade: Li Yuan, Executive General Manager of Century Mineral Resources (China-Malaysia), received the International Mineral Resources Development Excellence Award; Mia Alhazni, Group Treasurer of 11 Dot Eleven Group Sdn Bhd, won the Global Trade and Market Expansion Award. Entrepreneurs from Indonesia and Thailand were honored for their contributions to international trade and food exports.
– Industry Innovation & Cultural Heritage: Mohd Azemi Bin A Rahman (construction), Yuki Wong (Love 2 Travel Asia) in business travel, and Ng Jin Wah (dragon and lion dance culture) were recognized for innovation and cultural integration.
– Social Responsibility: Dato Desmond Sia (Malaysian local brand) and ACM Indonesia (renewable energy) received awards for sustainable development, with ACM Indonesia reducing carbon emissions by 12,000 tons annually through AI technology.
