Successful Conclusion of the Inspection Tour by Shenzhen Market Supervision Bureau, Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce, and Entrepreneurs to Malaysia
From September 12 to September 13, 2023, under the arrangement and reception of Wong Yu Ning, Chairman of the Malaysia International Tourism Promotion Board (BPPA) and Deputy President of the Malaysia Global Business Chamber (MCC-GB), the event hosted by MCC-GB President Dato’ Seri Stanley Lim successfully concluded. The Shenzhen Market Supervision Bureau and Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce led entrepreneurs to Malaysia for business exchange meetings and to visit the Malaysia International Halal Food Expo. This inspection tour aimed to promote the healthy development of Shenzhen’s agricultural products market, strengthen interaction between entrepreneurs and regulatory authorities, and enhance the quality and competitiveness of agricultural products.
The delegation visited several agricultural production bases, agricultural product processing enterprises, and agricultural markets to gain a detailed understanding of local production conditions, processing techniques, and market sales. Through on-site inspections and discussions, entrepreneurs not only gained a more intuitive understanding of advanced agricultural technologies and management models but also gained deeper insights into market supervision policies and quality standards.
During the inspection, leaders from the Shenzhen Market Supervision Bureau provided a detailed introduction to the current regulatory measures and future development directions of the agricultural products market and listened to the opinions and suggestions of the entrepreneurs. Representatives from the Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce stated that this inspection tour not only boosted entrepreneurs’ confidence in the agricultural products market but also provided a platform for inter-enterprise cooperation.
The successful organization of this inspection tour has not only promoted the healthy development of agricultural import and export markets between Malaysia and Shenzhen but also strengthened the close ties between the Malaysia Global Business Chamber, regulatory authorities, and entrepreneurs. In the future, the Malaysia Global Business Chamber, Shenzhen Market Supervision Bureau, and Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce will continue to organize similar activities to promote the standardized and modernized development of the agricultural products market, providing citizens with safer and higher-quality agricultural products.
Finally, we extend our gratitude to all the leaders and entrepreneurs who participated in this inspection tour and thank the various agricultural bases and enterprises for their support. We believe that with everyone’s joint efforts, the agricultural products market in Malaysia will have an even brighter future.
